Really good compilation of stories covering each diablo III class and two other stories about a playwright and a caravan. My favorite had to be the barbarian, the witch doctor story was great too.
Good book for the price you pay. At times good stories and at other times they are ok stories. All in all it is worth reading.
Origin stories for the heroes of the universe, as grim and bloody as the games, now we just need one for the upcoming Necromancer!
A good read to get introduced into Diablo Universe at this stage of development.
Made a boring night at the bar I manage much better. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Diablo 3 class lore and the side stories are very entertaining as well.
Super short. Not very in depth. Cheap though
I quite enjoyed the stories overall. Each individual story was self-contained and kept to itself which allowed for the characters and plot to naturally expand and move along in a way that might have been compromised if all of the stories overlapped each other in a more than glancing pass. The stories also appeal to various parts of the human personality to where no matter who the person is at least one story will appeal to them. Excellent plots for each story and excellent characters. The authors did a good job in making the characters human with their own individual problems rather than making them omnipotent super heroes.
The stories are all good, but I was greatly disappointed to realize that I had already read them. And I realized that when I remembered that they were all published on the Diablo 3 Web site in the weeks beforet the game came out. I don't see a reason why they would be sold separately as a new edition given that we had already had access to them.
